Montegrino Valtravaglia is a small village of almost 1500 inhabitants on the Southern side of the Mountain 7 termini up to 972 m high. Numerous paths for walking and hiking are present in this area: particularly interesting are the fortifications made during the First World War which are part of the so-called Linea Cadorna. Near the village there is the lake Sette Termini or "water lilies lake" (as it is called) and some rock carvings from the late Iron Age.
Agriturismo La Pometa is located in Montegrino Valtravaglia, around 10 minutes far (by car) from the Lake Maggiore and 15 minutes from the Swiss border.
